BACK OPEN: The section of Darling Terrace closed earlier due to a broken water main.

The section of Darling Terrace, closed earlier today due to a broken water main, is now back open.

SA Water thanks motorists and pedestrians for their patience while this work was being done.

Motorist are still asked to slow down and take care with a temporary patch put on the road where it was dug up.

A road crew will be back early tomorrow (Friday, February 14) to seal this area permanently.

CLOSED EARLIER: The section of Darling Terrace closed earlier due to a broken water main.

A broken water main on Darling Terrace has closed off a section of that road between the intersections of Whitehead and Horwood streets and Forsyth and Patterson streets.

SA Water crews have been working on the break since 6.30am this morning and expect the work to take another four to five hours (as of 8.30am).

More updates will be provided during the day.

Motorists and pedestrians are asked to take care around this area and proceed carefully around the detours.

The local bus service stop near the Post Office has been moved to the taxi rank outside the Spencer Hotel.
