Mosaic workshops to be held to coincide with Cuttlefest 2018

Residents of Whyalla have an opportunity to help create a major piece of community art to coincide with Cuttlefest 2018.

Cuttlefest 2018 is an event organized by Whyalla City Council, Natural Resources Eyre Peninsula, Experiencing Marine Sanctuaries and Department of Water, Natural Resources. It focuses on the annual giant cuttlefish migration. It will be held from 30 June – 9 July.

A series of mosaic workshops, facilitated by Port Lincoln artist Karen Carr, will be held between 12-14 June. The aim is to create a mosaic seat featuring cuttlefish.

Whyalla City Council’s Arts and Cultural Facilitator, Deb Hughes can be contacted for more information on 8640 3444.
