Whyalla Child Care Centre

The Whyalla Child Care Centre is a 68 place community based centre which cares for children from 6 weeks to 5 years old.  The centre is open Monday to Friday from 7:45am to 5:45pm, for 50 weeks of the year. Full time, sessional and hourly care is available. Care is available for (in order of priority):

• Children that are at risk of serious abuse or neglect 
• Children with additional needs - physical or mental disabilities, or parents with a disability
• Children of working parents - single or both parents are employed or studying/training for future employment
• Respite care for families unable to qualify in the above categories

The Centre recognises that early childhood is a unique and valuable stage of life, and accepts that each phase in early childhood is important in its own right.  The Centre aims to provide quality care while also meeting the individual needs of the children, their parents and the community.
